How does one know when they are high above the mountains or behind a wall of growing debt that isn't budging at all? Well most the time they don't. Either they are so high on their own fumes of money and success, or they are drunk with failure and depression. Either way they do not seem to notice where they are in the world.
On the subject of Bill and Bob, I find that unless you are in the middle of everything (Reasonable profit of money, and also able to be with your family.) you are stuck in some sort of problem. Everyone is probably going to go with Bill, since he's the family man, and is stuggling modern man. A classic story of an underdog, that still finds happiness in chaos. I agree, family is a important part of your life, you can't just completely cut yourself off from the ones you love.
Now Bob, he's the typical rich, stuck up, would rather sell his soul for a company than spend a day with his family. But in days like these, I admire his loyalty and his confidence in his work and what he does. I find it sick that today people will make a small profit, and then waste it all on some sort of item that they don't need. But I also hate when the rich and profitable people spend it all for themselves, none for the other people.
Many people are suffering in these days. And honestly it doesn't look good for the future. So what should I think while it seems that my future goes down the drain? What else can I do but try? Maybe things will turn around, I hope it does.

Poor
So yeah, a lot of countries are in debt lately. And this will probably not change for a while. Although it may seem that us Americans are in the top 5 in countries being in debt, but surprisingly we aren't. For whatever reason we are a little lower down, what surprised me is that Japan, one of the most successful countries, is in major debt.
Everyone is having problems these times, we can't do much except try not to spend as much. Our world is in our government's hands.

Poor People Getting Bail.
So, the billion dollar bail. What the hell is up with that? No seriously, it sounds great on paper, but when you put it into effect looks whats happening. You are giving poor people money from taxes that come from people that are barely hanging on, causing them to become poor. While the rich sit here and laugh. So you're saying that all these people that you're shoveling money to, will keep it for good reason such as paying off mortgages or taxes or some sort of billing, maybe even food for the kids. But I know, I know that half of all that money is just gonna be wasted on stupid crap such as, another T.V., a new car, etc. But all in the end it will just loop, if not make it worse. You'll run out of the bail they were giving you and now you have more crap to be billed on.
All the people that worked so hard to keep themselves together, such as my family. My father was in trouble since his work failed on him. My mother broke one of her arms, and I was still a young kid. We had very little income. But my mother found herself a job at home, while my dad now works at a high end planning/mapping/graphing company. We made it through, through it all. And these people get some damn bail out. I find it annoying. Having to deal with my family going through so much crap. Whatever, my rant is done.

Changes.
So, Obama is our new president. GOOD. I didn't want McCain to win, we need to change the way we view things. Electing Obama allowed us to connect with the outside world more easily. This is a very historical election. First African American as our lovely president.
Not only that, but here in Michigan we passed a bunch of these bills and whatnot. For instance the Proposal 2 Act. This was passed, and allowed us to research into stem cell recovery and things like that. It may make us pay a little more with the taxes and crap, but if there's anything that was gained in this election and also all the bills passed was hope. And right now we need a lot of it. Get our people out of Iraq and try to get our economy back up to at least what it was before. And also solve this crisis with gas and the earth losing it's ozone layer/global warming crap.

Nothing To Do.
I've been so bored in the past week or so. Nothing to do around here except watching movies and eating out. I wish that this place had some sort of guitar shop or something of the sort. I have to go all the way this weekend to Marquette to pick up some strings and possibly look for a new bass amp at the mall. I think it's called Johnson's? I forget.
If anyone knows a good, decent, and close by shop that sells strings/guitars crap tell me right away. Seems like every time I go into that store I get stared down by all the guitar jocks and "amp professionals" that I no longer want to shop there for my things. Plus, it's expensive as hell. $20.00 for a pack of strings which are basically just a steel wire wrapped with more steel wire. But whatever, it's the only thing I got at the moment, better make the best of it all.
Yeah that's it, I basically made this post to move the "Negative Campaigning" post down a bit.. Tired of politics.

Negative Campaigning
All I know is that McCain is constantly barking and scratching at Obama since the start of all of this. And I gotta say, it gets old. Actually this morning, I was watching the GMA News Station. And it seems that they were comparing how many times each of them attacked each other. And McCain won that with about 56%. Obama with a lowly 26%.
If this keeps up McCain will be utterly defeated in the final voting. Which I'm liking since I don't want him to win anyway. He's too conservative, and he agrees way too much with Bush. By the way, why does it seem that we don't even have a president in office during all this. Bush has become invisible, maybe he's busy packing his things. Or maybe the media is trying to stay away from him. I don't blame them.
So back on the candidates attacking each other. Yes, I agree that it is a type of strategy. But it gets old and useless after a couple of months. Seriously get a new slogan or strategy.

Mah Weekend
Sooooo, on Friday after the LAST time I had to play at a football game I went to John's house. Where we did.. Nothing. I brought my bass over and showed them all how awesomely I can play Tom Sawyer (Along with other Rush songs.) on my smazzy, jazzy bass. We started to play Rockband as well, but it got old pretty fast. And after that it's all a blur since I got hit in the head with a fricken lamp. I, for one, blame Nick. THAT'S RIGHT I'M CALLING YOU OUT. HURRRR! Not really, but damn.. That lamp hurt. A lot.
Then at around, I'd say 2:00 AM I shared Nick and John the story of the decapitated dog head that the Russians were able to bring back to life with SCIENCE. So after a while we had to watch it. (Of course.) It's black and white, has scary music in the background, and the dogs head MOVES ON IT'S OWN. WHY?! Why in all that is holy and good would the Russians want to bring a decapitated dog head BACK TO LIFE?! Just.. Ugh.
THEN. We somehow got into a conversation of the "Bunny Goddess". Don't let the name fool you! It's nothing nice, and has nothing to do with hot anime chicks in bunny girl outfits. NOT AT ALL. Google it at your own risk. All I will tell you is that IT STARES. STARES AT THE CAMERA WHILE IT CONSUMES YOUR SOUL.
And that's all that happened really...
Btw - Floating Dog Heads. Little present for John. >:3

The Larger Bowl
As I sit here in class typing these stupid blogs about nothing, while listening to Rush on their site with some headphones that i found on one of the tables (God knows what filth is on these things.) I started to listen to a song by Rush called Bravado from their Roll The Bones album. And for some reason after talking about politics and what kind of hole we have dug ourselves in, I couldn't help but notice that we are one of the very few fortunate ones that have the freedom to choose what we want in our lives. Our and their people at war over some stupid subject of religion and who's going to become a car bomb victim first. Not to sound cruel at all. All I'm saying is that people here need to stop bickering about how their lives suck. Hey, at least you didn't see your buddy get blown in half from a grenade.
Ah, the candidates.
So.. McCain and Obama. I REALLY don't want McCain to win. From the looks of it he looks like another gun ho "Let's keep this war going for FOUR MORE YEARS!" I heard from somewhere that he agrees a lot with what Bush wants/wanted. So yeah, I want Obama to win with this one, although a lot of his ideas are far fetched I have a feeling that he'll at least do SOMETHING about this war.
The main thing though that I dislike about these elections is how they say they will do so much, and usually go with the standard "lower taxes and do something about the earth problems". But then they get over their heads and say all this other crap about how we are going to find another fuel source and somehow revert what is happening to this earth of ours. How do you revert something that cannot be replaced? Well whoever wins better get out his magic wand and just start shaking the hell out of it, because so far I heard of nothing that could help us with the lowering fuel sources, global warming, excessive crime, smog that blocks out the sun, and corporate companies ruling this country with an iron fist.
I really do hope that this election at least gets us started on the right foot again, it seems as of late that we have all been marching to a different beat. We all have different ideas and no where to show them or tell them to. Maybe now we can have someone that will listen. And then we can start marching once again to the beat that we threw out so many times.
And I don't know much about Nader. But Nader rhymes with Vader. And I don't want some stupid Death Star in my backyard.

PDA
Well there is a song called PDA from a band named Interpol. And no not the secret agency. I found that I really like this song, a lot. And I do not know why. Sad thing is that this is the only song I really know from them. And also, I need to ask a question. Does it make anyone else mad that you would love a song/band, and you tell a person about it, and they say "Oh yeah I can play that song on Rockband on Expert with drums/guitar/bass/whatever." I dunno, smacking a plastic button doesn't seem to impress me. Don't get me wrong it's fun and all, and I enjoy playing it time from time. And it's great to play with a party or something. But I dislike the people that think they are actually playing a real instrument. Especially for a person like me that actually does play an instrument. Bah!

Hurricanes.
Well, their has been a hurricane in the south lately. But every time I hear about it, I notice that the media didn't pick it up and use it as much as the Katrina hurricane. For whatever reason I don't know. This hurricane caused just as much damage, physically and emotionally. I wouldn't care as much usually, but one of my friends lives near Texas and he had to evacuate earlier. He said everything is fine other than probably the rain and the wetness.
If I was ever in something that serious I don't think I'd be able to handle it at first. If my house was completely destroyed, I probably wouldn't be able to take it all in at once. my prize possessions. My bass, my computer. All of that gone because of some stupid winds and storms.
So yeah, i'm glad I live here up north. The worst we have is a blizzard, but at least we can control it with snowplows, and hide in the house and wait it out. That's all I have to say about that.

STUFF.
So homecoming was all this week. It's okay, but some of the ideas are kinda.. Hacky. I didn't like the whole "cross dressing day". It was supposed to be opposite day. But I guess opposite means opposite sex. So yeah guys wearing dresses is really scary. I don't think I can get the images out of my head.
But other than that it was pretty cool. Today is Blue & White day, our school colors. I'm stuck wearing some girls volleyball cut off jersey cause I don't own anything really that is blue and white, except for the Rush shirt that I'm wearing at this point but I guess that's not enough. And it smells like a gym. I don't think they washed it. So right now I'm kind of in my own Blue & White hell. I don't mind spirit week at all, but I don't like the crowd that follows it. Ah, but now I'm just complaining.
So other than all the hectic preparations, the school is getting ready for the float parade. I'm in the band here so I'll be in it. Either I'm playing the trumpet or the drums. But all in all I'm actually excited to go out and do the whole football season again. So that's it!

LHC Is Gonna Kill Us All!
Okay now for some random crap. For some reason I thought that Scatman John was still alive. But today I've learned that he died around the year 1999. Then I felt sad and then I ate some store brand Wheat Hexagons. And yes that's what they are called. And they were the best, and I'm going to get some more in a minute. BLAH BLAH BLAH WORDS. Kthxbai.

Dam That River!
So same old boring day lately. Just got done listening to Alice In Chains. As usual I've been practicing playing my bass. I've been trying to get the bass slap technique down. It's harder than it seems, or maybe I'm just making it harder for myself. I dunno lol.
Also, I've been reading this book called Darkness At Dawn by John Hands. It's about Soviet Russia and Ukraine going at it in a civil war for Ukraine's independence. But what surprised me was how graphic it seems to be at times. Especially how one of the Russian generals' die. I won't say cause I find it to be too graphic to be posted on a blog. But damn, it's harsh.

LOL WUT.
First thing here, nothing happened last weekend. But.. I guess I'll fill in this blank space. I sat around watching The Mask on Cartoon Network. Yes that channel. I was watching it and noticed there's a lot of guns and kissing and whatnot. And I said to myself "What the hell is this doing on a kids network?" So I guess these days kids understand what guns are/do. And that kind of made me thinking about the future of our kin. What will they do? Who will they look up to etc, etc. But enough with the seriousness.
So other than that I guess I just played my bass and whatnot. And also playing a lot of TF2. (Team Fortress 2) It's a game made by the VALVe computer company. You play as different classes to do certain goals for your team. (Capture the Flag, Capture Points, Steal things from the other team, etc.) And I usually play the Spy. Which is a classic French accented gentlemen stereotype. And he can get rid of anyone with his knife. Just a smooth back stab and they're down instantly. The Spy can also disguise as the enemy team, making it hard to find whoever is killing everyone. So yeah, I enjoy that class quite a bit.
And that was my weekend basically. Not very exciting but that's how i like it. Nice, smooth, and slow. No real hazards in my life. But I'm sure in a couple of days they will show up.
